Clyde Bellman, a bison rancher, lives in Mistletoe, Montana and figures he is finally ready to get married so he sends away for a mail order bride. Elizabeth, the matchmaker, thinks Merry Winters would be the perfect person for Clyde. She shows Merry Winters the letter but Merry isn’t ready to move away and be a mail order bride.Even with a Christmassy name and the fact she has a business making Christmas ornaments, Merry hates Christmas because her parents had been killed in a sleigh accident four years ago on Christmas Eve. She has been living with her sister and brother-in-law and their children after her parents had died. Merry’s sister and her husband had just died in a house fire leaving Merry and the young children homeless. She decides now might be the time to become a mail order bride but she is not sure Clyde would be willing to accept a bride with her niece and nephew.
This was a great book and I highly recommend it.

Another wonderful book by Kirsten Osbourne. This one is full of family dreams, laughter, and love. I am ready to start another!
After much heartache it was a nice to see how love and understanding can help ease the pain. I love the way the children were welcomed.

Merry' s adventure as a mail order bride starts out a little different than most. She inherits her tiny niece and nephew when a house fire takes their parents. She also arrives with a travel companion who helped with the children on the train ride. Her relationship with her new husband doesn't have all the bumpiness most of these type of stories seem to have. A really nice read with a really nice story line. Loved it!
